International Dialogue Series
Learning Global Perspectives
What does U.S. foreign policy look like from the outside looking in? The Yale Foreign Policy Initiative's International Dialogue Series explores exactly that. Every month, we will focus on a different nation and engage in dialogue with experts and nationals to try to see U.S. foreign policy issues from their perspective. Discussions will center on questions such as: how does this nation perceive the U.S. military and financial aid, the tension between domestic bipartisanship and international pressures, and broader challenges of a U.S. partnership. At the end of each cohort, selected participants will work together on a publication reflecting the dialogue and lessons learned.
April 2026 Cohort — Ukraine
This initiative brought together a small group of Yalies with Ukrainian peers and professionals for structured conversations. Participants engaged with students from the Kyiv School of Economics and invited speakers from Ukraine’s government and private sector, including a representative from the Ministry of Defense.
