RECRUITMENT

Overview

The Yale Foreign Policy Initiative (YFPI) unites students from diverse academic and personal backgrounds—from medicine and mathematics to global affairs and economics. Our projects are intentionally small (8–10 analysts) to ensure collaboration and meaningful contributions from every member. Recruitment is selective—last year we received over 150 applications—but prior foreign policy experience is not required. Many of our analysts and board members began without one. We look for driven, curious students eager to engage in public service and contribute to YFPI’s mission of advancing thoughtful dialogue and foreign policy analysis at Yale
